A Beatnik's Beat on Feet: Giveaway!

I am SO excited to announce that I am starting a small business of sorts! I am making custom fuzzy flip flops - and just in time for spring and summer! I've just started, but here's what I've got so far:

Soft Rainbow
Grape Crush (child size)
School Spirit: OU
Tinsel Town
School Spirit: OSU

Red Shoe Society
Vivid Rainbow
I'm still working on some different colored flip flops and will have lots of varying styles coming up, so definitely keep your eyes open for that. 

In the meantime, I could use some help. I'm not sure how to price these things! I've come up with a few prices, but I'm getting varying opinions - some think I'll charge too little, some say there's no way they'd pay that much for a pair of flip flops. 

So, I am giving away one pair of custom flip flops - your choice of color and style.

alright Miss Erin... Heres how my mommy decides how she pays for her crafty things... Say you use half of your fuzzy yarn, which is what like stinkin 5 bucks for the little bit you get? so theres 2.50. Then you multiply it by how many hours it takes you to make them.. If it takes you half an hour.. multiply it by .5.. which is 3.75. Then she multiplies it by 2 for labor. which is 7.50. I would TOTALLY pay 7.50 for some flippy flops. But dont forget to add how much the flip flops themselves were.. I would pay up to 10 for a pair of them, but thats just me. I LOVE shoes and Baileigh does too..... Thats an AWESOME way to start out! Love ya girly!

Stephenie's breakdown was awesome... where was she when I was pricing my soaps & bath n' body products!? lol It is sooo hard to figure that stuff out. I would definitely also factor in the price of the flip flops themselves... hopefully you are finding them in bulk for a more reasonable price. ;) Bargain hunter here

I would totally pay $10 a pair - just trying to think what other places are charging - ok so I just went to ebay and typed in fuzzy flip flops and found pairs that were ranging from $7.99 - $14.99 with shipping.

So cute - those vivid rainbow ones are my faves! I agree with Stephenie's breakdown, and I think $10 is fair. Maybe offer a discount for multiple pairs?

I like these! I'd pay between $7.00 and $12.00 for a pair. I think the less they are per pair, the more I'd want to buy, like 3 or 4 at a time. Also the fact that they can be customized is great!

Could I realistically see myself paying for a pair of these shoes?? Maybe- I am a huge OU fan and I think these flip flops would look great on game day. I also have 3 boys who grow out of shoes like every other week so most of my "shoe" money is put towards their feet!

Do I think they are really cute and would be thrilled to win a pair?? Yes, yes and yes again :)

I would definitely pay about $10/pair. I love flip flops and wear them year around. Totally loving the rainbow ones!
